Arrow Families,

Welcome to a brand new school year! I’m so excited to welcome you and your child to Edison Elementary, where we will be only 2nd and 3rd grade students this year. This is a fresh start for all of us, and I’m honored to be on this journey with you.

At Edison, we believe every child is a leader in their own way. This year, your child will take part in The Leader in Me Program, where they will learn important skills like being responsible, working well with others, and believing in themselves. These habits will help them not only in school, but in life. Most of all, your child will be seen, heard, and celebrated for the amazing person they are.

This year will be full of learning—not just for students, but for families, teachers, and our whole school community. We’ll take our time, support each other, and work together to build routines and systems that help every 2nd and 3rd grade scholar grow—both in the classroom and as a friend and leader.

I truly believe that every child can make a difference in our school and in our community. When schools and families work together, amazing things can happen. With your support and partnership, we’ll help your child grow into their best self.
